Usher Custody War -- Tameka Loses ... But Gets an Usher Hug
After a bitterly contentious hearing
and drama surrounding the near-
death of their son, Usher showed an
unbelievably classy move in court
Friday -- hugging his ex-wife Tameka
after the judge dismissed her request
for primary custody.Pretty shocking ...
especially considering the painfully
awkward silence that preceded the
hearing.Tameka filed an emergency
request for primary custody after her
and Usher's 5-year-old son Usher
Raymond V nearly drowned in a pool
on Monday. Usher currently has
primary custody of their two boys.In
court Friday, Tameka used the pool
accident as an example of Usher
being an inattentive father, who
employs incompetent caretakers -- in
this case his aunt Rena -- to look after
their children.Usher's lawyer shot
back, insisting Usher's a great dad
and the children are thriving with him,
despite the recent pool accident ...
which, Usher argued, could have
happened to anybody.During
questioning, Tameka broke down in
tears talking about her son's accident,
saying she didn't know if her child
suffered permanent brain or heart
damage.FYI, Usher Raymond V is still
in the hospital -- Tameka claimed it's
because of lingering complications,
including a low heart rate. Usher said
it's because he doesn't want his son
discharged before doctors are 100%
sure he's okay.In the end, the judge
sided with Usher, ruling the current
custody order should stay in place ...
meaning Usher keeps primary
custody, and Tameka gets a little.

Cissokho agrees terms with Liverpool
The Valencia defender has revealed the two clubs remain at loggerheads over the deal, with the Liga side keen for a sale and the Reds hoping for a loan with an option to buy Valencia left-back Aly Cissokho has revealed that he has reached an agreement with Liverpool and that it is now up
to the clubs to negotiate a deal to take him to Anfield.
The Premier League side have been busy in the transfer market with four signings to date - Simon Mignolet, Kolo Toure, Iago Aspas and Luis Alberto - but are light on full-backs following the retirement of Jamie Carragher and Jack Robinson's loan move to Blackpool.
And Cissokho has now claimed he is close to joining Liverpool, but states the two club are at loggerheads over the structure of the deal with Valencia after a sale and the Reds keen on a loan-to-buy option.
"Liverpool have made me an offer and it is true that I have
reached an agreement with them," he told Le 10 Sport . "It is
now up to the clubs to agree terms. I expect to know more
later this week.
"If nothing happens this week, it probably means that I will
not be going to Liverpool.
"The conditions of the transfer are the problem. Liverpool prefer a loan deal with an option to buy, while Valencia want to sell straight away. If the transfer doesn't take place, it's not
a problem either. I am feeling well at Valencia."
Cissokho made 20 appearances for Valencia last term after joining from Lyon on a four-year deal.
Mourinho vows to fight for Rooney signing 'until the last day'
Chelsea have seen two bids already rejected for the Manchester United striker, but the Blues boss
is hopeful of seeing progress befor the end of the transfer window
Jose Mourinho has warned Manchester United that Chelsea will continue their pursuit of wantaway striker Wanye
Rooney "until the last day".
The Blues have seen two bids for the England international rejected by the Premier League champions - with their
most recent offer thought to total £30 million with add-ons - with the forward understood to fear a backlash from
the fans if the club force him to stay at Old Trafford.
Rooney was told to train with the reserves on Thursday with
manager David Moyes angered by his efforts to engineer a
move, and Mourinho insists he will not stop chasing the 27-
year-old.
"There is no time limit on it," Mourinho is quoted as saying by
the Daily Mail.
"We have identified the player as one we would like to have
with us. We have done it in an ethical way and we are going
to do that until the last day. We are doing things legally,
making the official bid directly to the club."
Mourinho, though, insists no Chelsea official has spoken to
Rooney regarding a move to Stamford Bridge without the
consent of United but is hopeful of entering negotiations
before the end of the transfer window.
"There have been no direct relations with the player, no
contact - absolutely nothing. So let's see if things change."
