Bieber Photo Shoot Rules 1) Don't Talk to Me ... 2) No Selena Gomez Music!!!

0628_bieber_rider_wm_launch_2
Justin Bieber is a paranoid, self-absorbed megalomaniac ... is what you've gotta think after seeing the laughable rules he sets for photo shoots -- including a ban on speaking to the Bieber, and NEVER playing his ex ... Selena Gomez's music.

TMZ has obtained a rider from a Bieber photo shoot earlier this month, and other restrictions include NO cell phones and NO autographs whatsoever ... which are actually pretty common demands.

But Bieber also has a laundry list of food demands on set -- including herbal teas, a deli platter, a veggie platter, a large pack of Swedish Fish, Ritz Bits Peanut Butter Sandwiches, Ritz Bitz Cheese Sandwiches, and 2 large packs of Haribo cola gummies.

Munchies much?

Bieber also must have a serious sweating problem -- because he asks for several packs of white undershirts, tanks and socks as well. Weird.

Then of course, there's the required boombox with an iPhone 5 connector ... for tunes.

Just remember: "No Selena Music on set."

Juventus have agreed a fee for Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez, according to Sky sources

Officials from the two clubs met in London on Tuesday to hammer out the deal and Tevez will now travel to Italy on Wednesday for a medical and to discuss personal terms with the Serie A champions, who have reportedly offered him a three-year contract.
Juventus are set to pay a flat fee of around £10m for the 29-year-old Argentina international with some additional bonus payments also agreed.
City will now search for a replacement striker for Tevez - as they have only Sergio Aguero and Edin Dzeko on their books - although Napoli's Edinson Cavani is reportedly not one of their targets.
Tevez joined City from their local rivals Manchester United on a five-year contract on July 14, 2009.
He has since made 148 appearances for the club, scoring 73 goals, although he was also fined and suspended by City following the infamous Champions League match at Bayern Munich in 2011.
Tevez began his career at Boca Juniors in Argentina and has also played for Corinthians in Brazil and West Ham.
As long as there are no unforeseen hitches, the transfer will bring to an end one of the most eventful Barclays Premier League careers.

TEVEZ IN ENGLAND

WEST HAM
Games 29, Goals 7
MAN UTD
Games 99, Goals 34
MAN CITY
Games 148, Goals 73
Signed by West Ham in 2006 despite being the subject of third party ownership, which is against Premier League rules, Tevez scored the goal that kept them up, only for the Londoners to be hit with a massive £5.5million fine for infringing regulations.
Tevez quickly moved on to Manchester United, where he won two Premier League titles and the Champions League.
However, a deteriorating relationship with Sir Alex Ferguson meant Tevez had no hesitation in accepting a massive offer from City in 2009.
The departure of manager Mark Hughes within six months of that deal being done was to have significant repercussions though as Tevez failed to connect with the Welshman's replacement Roberto Mancini, whilst the striker's advisor Kia Joorabchian had an equally poor relationship with former chief executive Garry Cook.
Tevez was named skipper in 2010 and led the Blues to an FA Cup final win over Stoke the following year, but simmering discontent erupted in Munich when Tevez opted not to warm-up the defeat to Bayern.
Mancini reacted furiously, stating after the match that Tevez would never play for the club again.
Tevez was subsequently put on 'gardening leave' but with the anticipated January move not materialising, he returned to the club in February 2012.
He earned his place back in Mancini's side and was a factor in the Blues ending their 44-year wait for the league championship.
Without ever patching up his relationship with Mancini completely, Tevez still made 39 appearances in all competitions, finishing joint top scorer at City with 17 goals.
However, his late winner against Wigan in April now looks like being his last for the club.

Miley Cyrus Threatens Her Father Tell The Truth, Or Else!!!

UPDATE

9:50 AM PT -- The mystery woman is a stage actress named Dylis Croman, who starred with Billy Ray Cyrus in the Broadway production of "Chicago" last year.

0625-dylis-croman-billy-ray-chicago-2012
UPDATE

Miley Cyrus
is turning up the heat on her father ... warning him to "tell the truth" about his relationship with a mystery woman, or she'll blast him for all of the world to see ... via Twitter.

The supposed blackmail first surfaced last night when Miley posted a bizarre tweet to Billy Ray Cyrus -- the tweet contained a picture of a mystery woman along with the caption, "Since you won't reply to my texts I'm giving you an hour to tell the truth or ill tell it for you."

Given the relationship drama between Billy Ray and his wife Tish, we're assuming Miley is suggesting the mystery woman is somehow involved.

Miley has since deleted the post.

FYI -- an "hour" came and went and Miley never followed through on her threat ... unless Billy Ray actually contacted her.

We reached out to Miley's people for comment -- so far, no word back.

Meet Yoruba Sex Nypho. Seyi Kolade Who Has Slept With 370 Men At 35

Approaching a man at a bar, Seyi Kolade had only one thing on her mind as she chatted with the stranger - sex. Within hours the pair were in bed together and she was delighted at how her evening had panned out.

And this was not a chance encounter, for Seyi was a sex addict and it was what she did almost every day for 13 years. Last night she said: “Sex addiction took hold of my life.”

Seyi, 35, was just 17 when she became dependent on sleeping with men. By 19 she'd had 40 partners and she says she has bedded a shocking total of 370 men.

Her dangerous addiction led her to a life of destruction - catching sexually transmitted infections, being evicted from her home and having two terminations.

By the age of 30, Seyi had hit rock bottom and needed help. Today, after attending numerous sex addiction meetings and 12-step programmes, Seyi has been celibate for four years and is helping others like her.

She explains says: “Sex addiction is something people associate with men, but it took hold of my life for more than 13 years.
“It was a craving and a fear of how I’d feel if I couldn’t get it.
“Once I did, it was a huge relief, like a weight was lifted.
“It’s like any addiction. It made me selfish, self-destructive and depressed but it was a cycle I couldn’t escape.”

She adds: “I lost my virginity when I was 13 with my first boyfriend.
“I was shocked when I fell pregnant. I gave birth when I was 14. It was a very difficult time.”
Social services arranged a nanny to look after her daughter, Sarah, from six weeks old.
Being a young mum scarred Seyi’s childhood. She says: “I moved out of home when I was 16 with Sarah and lived in a mother and baby unit. I felt terribly lonely. I craved affection, I was miserable.”

Moving into a housing association home at 17, Seyi met then-boyfriend Paul, 31.
It was now that she began to use sex to replace her feelings of loneliness.
She says: “When I started having sex with my boyfriend I thought it was the answer and would stop me feeling so lonely. But it wasn’t enough.”
Going to bars, Seyi, from Birmingham, cheated on Paul at least once a week with strangers or men she would meet regularly.

She says: “I needed sex and afterwards it was a relief. When I couldn’t made love my confidence would plummet, I felt ugly and went into a spiral of upset and frustration, feeling unworthy and needing another fix as soon as possible.”
Seyi fell pregnant at 17 with son, Andrew. She says: “I told Paul it was his although there was some doubt in my mind. After I gave birth I tried to stay faithful. I wanted sex with him four to five times a day, but the attention from him wasn’t enough.
“When the pent-up sexual frustration became too much, I’d go elsewhere and get validation through sex.
“I cheated on him three times in six months, then fell pregnant again.”
Devastated and unable to look after another child, Seyi made the decision to have her baby terminated.
She says: “It wasn’t fair on the child to have them. I didn’t know whose baby it was so I didn’t tell Paul. I wanted our relationship to work but we split up when I was 19.”
Seyi’s heartbreak made her sex addiction go wild. She says: “The only cure for my loneliness was sex. I had five guys I could meet with for sex when I wanted and was also sleeping with strangers. I’d go to bars and easily pick one up. Being good in bed made me feel worthy.”
By 22 Seyi had caught chlamydia twice. Going out almost every night while her children were looked after by friends and family, all she could think about was sex.
She says: “Between the ages of 22 to 30, life was a blur, my addiction had taken over.
“I was sleeping with five to six men, or meeting strangers for sex at bars weekly. I fell pregnant again at 26. I felt I had no choice but to have a termination. I got drunk and had sex After the procedure.
“I don’t know how I managed to keep my job as a management consultant. I took lots of sick days when I craved sex and couldn’t face the office. I even slept with a colleague.
“I was evicted for not paying rent when I was 29 and had to send my children to live with my family.”

While staying with a friend Seyi saw the documentary The Secret, about the laws of attraction. She says: “I knew I had a problem but never stopped to think about being a sex addict. I realised I needed help.”

After quitting her job to concentrate on her recovery Seyi, then 31, went to an addiction meeting.
She says: “There were six others there and when I listened to their stories it cured my nerves. I didn’t stop craving sex straight away but cut down slowly.” Since August 2009 she has been celibate.
She says: “I’m so proud of myself. I’ve craved sex but the programme lets me know the trigger signs.
“I don’t plan on having sex any time soon. If the right guy comes along and I feel I’m in a stable, loving relationship, I’d feel safe to do it. I have my children back living with me and feel I’m no longer a sex addict.

“I’d hate to think where my life would be now if I hadn’t sought help.”
Despite her recovery, Seyi lives with the guilt of her addiction. She says: “I could have passed on STIs, I had two terminations and my kids didn’t have the attention they deserved.
“I’ve now trained as an inspirational speaker and happiness advocate. At workshops and seminars I can help others understand what sex addiction is, where it comes from and recovery.
“Being celibate has given me my life back. I want to help others do the same.”

Paris Jackson Deep in Dark 'Cutting' World

0623-paris-jackson-getty
Paris Jackson
will be in treatment for months, for a dark depression that is putting her life in serious jeopardy ... TMZ has learned.

We're told Paris' family is scoffing at law enforcement claims that her "suicide attempt" earlier this month was merely a cry for help.  We're told when the bandages on her arm were removed, the damage was "horrifying."  As one source put it, "Paris absolutely tried to kill herself, and it wasn't the first time."

Our sources say Paris is deep into the world of cutting.  We've seen Paris' Tumblr page, and it's filled with pics of death, suicide and cutting.  Several pics show teenagers putting guns in their mouths.  As for cutting, the pics are graphic and very bloody.  In one pic you see a girl with scissors cutting her arm with a caption, "I f**king hate myself."

0623-paris-jackson-tumblr-1
Another pic shows an arm with writing over the cutting area that reads, "Suicide slice here."

In one posting, there's a piece of paper with the following type:  "Why did you try to kill yourself?"  The answer:  "You told me to be happy."

And there are other photos of young girls who have just cut themselves and blood is everywhere.

0623-paris-jackson-tumblr-2
And it looks like Paris reached out from time to time to get help, because there are several postings which have anti-cutting messages.

Family sources tell TMZ ... Paris is "doing better" at UCLA Medical Center but still in denial and is fighting therapy.   Although she has no desire now to cut herself again, we're told professionals are warning the family they need to figure out the triggers that plunge her into darkness.

Sources tell us ... Paris will move from UCLA to another treatment center, and she could be there for 3 months.

Transfer news: Brazil star Paulinho set to make Tottenham transfer

Paulinho: Looks set for Tottenham moveCorinthians have confirmed that negotiations are gathering pace with Tottenham regarding the transfer of Paulinho. The Brazil international, who is currently impressing in the Confederations Cup, has long been linked with a move to Europe with Tottenham among the clubs interested.
Spurs were yet to have firmed up their interest as recently as last week, but reports now suggest that a £17million bid for the midfielder has been accepted.
Corinthians director of football Edu - a former Arsenal player - has confirmed that there have been further developments and a move to London now looks likely.
When asked about the interest from the White Hart Lane club, Edu told UOL: "The situation is well underway.
"We have to agree on some details of the negotiation, so I can't say he will leave yet, but the negotiations are good."
The 24-year-old made his Brazil debut in 2011 and was recently on target for his country against England at the Maracana.

Transfer news: Chelsea's Thibaut Courtois loaned to Atletico Madrid for third year

Thibaut Courtois: Third loan spell with Atletico Madrid
Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois will spend a third season on loan at Atletico Madrid, the Spanish side have announced.
The Belgium international arrived at Stamford Bridge from Genk in 2011 but has yet to make a first-team appearance.
He had expressed his wish to stay with the Primera Liga club after playing a key role in the club's 2011/12 Europa League triumph and last term's Copa del Rey success.
"Thibaut Courtois will return to Atletico Madrid next season after an agreement was reached between our club and Chelsea for him to play on loan for another year," read a statement on Atletico's official website on Saturday.
Courtois conceded the fewest number of goals in the league last season, beaten just 29 times in 37 appearances, to help ensure Champions League qualification.
"I am very happy because it was what I wanted," he said.
"I have always said that I wanted to continue at Atletico next season and take part in such an important competition as the Champions League after we qualified for it in such a brilliant way.
"I am only thinking about continuing to enjoy the incredible support that we have and I hope we can continue to bring them a lot of happiness."

No Gang-Up Can Uproot PDP – Jonathan

President Goodluck Jonathan
President Goodluck Jonathan has assured members of the Peoples Democratic Party that no gang-up among the other political parties was capable of removing the party from power.
Mr. Jonathan said he liked the way opposition political parties were attempting to merge in order to confront the PDP, but added that the merger of opposition parties was not a threat to the PDP.
The president made the remarks today at the National Executive Committee meeting of the ruling party, which was held in Abuja.
President Jonathan’s full speech:
I wouldn't say much but when we come for NEC, they will expect the President to make [a] brief remark about topical issues.

Presently, you know there are political issues on ground, there are security issues and, of course, economic issues. I wouldn't want to go into details.

Political issues, we also listen to INEC, they have warned us not to go too far because they are yet to open their doors for politicking. But one thing I have to appreciate the party and especially the PDP governors is the formation of the PDP Governors Forum.  It has really helped to stabilize the polity.

Governor Akpabio said it all that at the beginning, there was no need for PDP Governors Forum but now that we have reduced in number to 23, definitely, this should be the least. We cannot shrink below this level. We must build up.

As the time of formation of the Nigerian Governors Forum, focus was slightly different. In every organization, over the year, there must be some change direction and so and so forth.

So, looking at the number of PDP governors vis-à-vis the total number of governors, it becomes very clear that the PDP needs to have their own thing because we have realized that some of the other political parties, the governors used to meet before coming for general meetings. But PDP being the elephant among did not really bother much. But over the period, we have realized that there is the need for them to also meet because politics is politics. Politics is a game of interest.
I remember the first time I read Obasanjo's book, that was 1981, My Command, and he said something in one of the place there that in politics, there is nothing like permanent friends or permanent enemies but permanent interests.

I believe in even in local politics, the interest matters so much. There is no permanent friend, no permanent enemy but permanent interest and as long as people have different interest, there must be disagreement. But as a member of political party, we must know that no matter what, the party's interest must supersede any other interest. At the end of the day, all our interests will converge to one interest, that is the interest of PDP.

One good thing that Nigerians should commend PDP now is that if you look at the evolution of political parties, it is now stable. Before when elections are coming, by now you will be hearing about new parties being formed and at a time, the ballot paper was becoming too long, INEC was finding a way of deregistering parties.

Because PDP has come on very strong, no matter the criticism they are criticizing us, they know that we are very strong and they realize that what they need to do is not forming new parties but parties coming together. So, we are helping to stabilize the polity.
We will encourage them to come together more. We want a situation where it is PDP versus one. In that case, the polity will be more stable. Even our members will be more loyal to the party because you will have nowhere to go.

All this time, immediately we disagree in PDP, somebody is picking form in one PPP, DDD party and contesting House of Assembly or House of Reps or Senate. When we have only two, before you get there, they have already occupied that place. So, even if we disagree, we will agree at the end of the day and it will even help to build a stronger party.

So, Nigerians should commend PDP. If PDP were weak, people wouldn't have gathered together. There wouldn't have been any reason for parties to come together to fight PDP. But when you have so many parties on their own they know they cannot face us until they come together then you know that we are formidable.

And PDP will become stronger and no matter the gang up, I don't see how they can uproot the PDP.
The other one is the issue of security which I wouldn't want to dwell on. We are all aware of the issues of kidnapping in southern part of the country, the excesses of terrorist groups in some parts of the north and the steps taken by government are known to all of us.

But one key thing sometimes that get people confused about Boko Haram is this communal conflicts, ethnic cleansing. It was not so prominent before. Animosity between tribes and society has been a part of human society; it has been a part of the history of the human race. People living together must have disagreement. But this idea of minor provocation, youth will carry weapons to attack and kill massively like what happened in Zamfara State recently, it has nothing to do with Boko Haram.

But because Boko Haram is an issue, whenever somebody is killed, everybody says it is Boko Haram. What happened in Zamfara state had nothing to do with Boko Haram.

It is one area the governors will also be discussing in their meetings. This ethnic rivalry is becoming embarrassing. Government cannot continue to sit down and allow ethnic rivalry between communities, between different ethnic groups leading to deaths.

Definitely, if we send soldiers to such places, soldiers carry guns, they don't carry canes, the result may not be too palatable.
So on our own, the leaders of this country, governors and all of us, we should try and continue to talk to our brothers and sisters that killing is not the best way to resolve conflicts.
As long as we liver, there must be conflicts but we should use dialogue to resolve our conflicts.

The other area I may touch briefly is economic issues.
Of course, if you ask a president or somebody who wants to contest election or the president of any country and you ask what will be your area of interest, he will tell you the economy of the country. If you ask again what will be your second area, he will tell you the economy of the country. If you tell him, what is the third interest, he will tell you the economy of the country.
Of course, you talk about education, about roads, about power and so on, but you cannot do any of these without a robust economy. So that is the core.
The key areas they will raise is insecurity and corruption. As long as we can handle these two, there is no reason the economy of Nigeria will not be the biggest in very few years.
In terms of economic focus, it is quite bright. All what we need as a nation is for us to believe in Nigeria and no matter the interest we have, not to compromise the interest of the state.

Somebody may want to hold office including that of the president or a councilor, the country must be there for you to hold that office and as long as you don't compromise the interest of the state in our political struggle in Nigeria's interest, it will not take us more that five years for this country to get to the point where the issues of unemployment and job creation will no longer be a big thing.

For us, myself and the Vice President and members of our team, I promise the party that we will not disappoint.
We must make sure that anytime PDP has any reason to campaign, we must have reference point, we have solid material to show.
We have not reached where we want to go, no doubt about that.
We are totally committed that we must move this country to where we want our children to be but we need the maximum cooperation of ever member of our party.

We promise our party that in spite of the noise people are making, political environment, there is so much noise, they are just noise. We will continue to move forward in PDP.

Africa Visit: Obama To Focus On Variety Of Issues

President Barack Obama
President Obama will use his trip to South African to engage Nigerian youths about the security challenges facing Nigeria and the fundamental importance of Nigeria Africa, the United States has said.
Speaking at a media call on Mr. Obama’s trip to Africa next week, Ben Rhodes, the Deputy National Security Advisor for Strategic Communication, indicated that despite the fact that the president will not set foot on Nigeria soil, it would engage in bilateral talks with the country.
From June 26 to July 3, President Obama will visit three African countries: Senegal, South Africa and Tanzania.  He will be accompanied by First Lady Michelle Obama and their daughters, Sasha and Malia.
The White House said that the trip was the United States engagement with Africa as they considered it an important region in the world.  According to Mr. Rhodes, the trip would reaffirm the US’s commitment to peace, security, development, and prosperity across the continent, tapping into trade and development, economic opportunities, as well as investing in youths who are considered to be the key pillars of the development agenda.
During his first stop, in Senegal, Mr. Obama will address the Supreme Court on the rule of law in the region. He will also visit Goree Island and the House of Slaves where he will speak to civil society groups.
In South Africa, President Obama is expected to travel to Pretoria and Johannesburg, and discuss security issues regarding South Sudan. He will meet with the AU chairperson, Dr Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma, before hosting a town hall meeting in Soweto with the Young African Initiative (YAL).
He will also travel to Robben Island and then to a community center where he will discuss the challenges of HIV and other health issues with Bishop Desmond Tutu.  During a visit to the University of Cape Town, he is expected to lay out his vision for the world.
Asked if President Obama will visit ailing Nelson Mandela, Mr. Rhodes said President Obama, will be “deferential” on what would be in the best interest of the former South African President and his family. He added that his thoughts and prayers are with Mandela.
In Tanzania, President Obama will hold bilateral talks with President Jikaya Kikwete and participate in a roundtable business leadership forum on what the US can do to increase trade and improve economic growth. He is also expected to visit the site of the embassy bombing in Dar es Salaam before he leaves the country.
At the briefing, it was revealed that President Obama has no plans to meet up with his grandmother, Sarah Obama because the two met in Berlin, Germany during his recent European tour.
A reporter asked why the president does many frequent African trips since it was a place for economic growth Ben’s response was that the trip was sending a signal of the U.S integration by bringing along an economic team of experts and bringing in young people to help send that message of US interest in African youth and economic growth.
On why there is an increasing military presence in Africa that involves the use of drones, a member of the panel answered that the African Command of the US military “AFRICOM”  is building African capacity, helping in the effort to capture Joseph Kony, supporting Uganda against the Lords Resistance Army and supporting Mali in its conflict with the rebels there.

Governor Yero Silent On Embezzlement Of SURE-P’s N560m Fund

Governor Mukhtar Ramalan Yero
Several days after Governor Mukhtar Ramalan Yero of Kaduna State was reported to have embezzled 560 million naira from the state’s SURE-P funds, the governor has remained silent, leading several critics to conclude that something must be amiss.
A source who is a member of the Kaduna State House of Assembly confirmed to SaharaReporters that Mr. Yero had not offered any explanation or made a response about the report that accused him of embezzlement.
The source stated that the governor was instead using emissaries and other underground “diplomatic tactics” to get the scandal “swept under the carpet.” He added that some legislators were discussing ways of forcing the governor to give a full explanation for the missing funds and the bad image the issue has caused Kaduna State. The lawmaker disclosed, however, that some of his colleagues were unfortunately in Mr. Yero’s pocket.
Said the legislator, “Before the report was made public this week, [Governor Yero’s] godfather, Vice President Namadi Sambo, came to Kaduna last Saturday on a condolence visit, and held a secret meeting with the lawmakers, on the need to shelve aside their differences and support the governor. But the members still went ahead with their job to the chagrin and surprise of the Vice President.”
Another source within the Kaduna Government House also revealed that Mr. Yero was reluctant to issue a statement to the media. However, according to the source, “the governor has been working round the clock with some top aides and those concerned in his cabinet on how to contain the matter.”
The source stated that most of the Kaduna lawmakers were also not sincere, alleging that the hands of many of them were soiled by corruption. “Believe me, some of these honorable members making noise, they have dipped hands in the same SURE-P’s funds at the local government levels in the state. How can they stand up and harass His Excellency?” he said.
He added that residents of the state would be shocked if or when the corrupt embezzlement of the same funds at local government levels is revealed by the 23 local government chairmen.
In a report on how the funds were being implemented at the state level, the Kaduna State House of Assembly had indicted the state government on allegations of misappropriation of funds and the disregard of basic financial rules guiding the spending of public funds. The legislative report also alleged that John Ayuba, a former Kaduna State commissioner of finance (who now heads the Ministry of Water Resources) had procured cars at inflated figures different from agreed prices at committee level.

Four more hours passed, and the monkey hasn't surfaced at the airport.  We're told Bieber actually chartered a helicopter to bypass street traffic and retrieve the primate.

We're told Bieber has 30 minutes left at the time of this post ... before the pilot pulls the plug because he's about to run out of duty time.

Dwyane Wade & LeBron James Partying 'til 5:30 AM After NBA Title

062113_heat_world_launchThe Miami Heat finished off the San Antonio Spurs and then proceeded to finish off a few bottles of champagne ... celebrating their NBA title last night in grand fashion.

LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and company hit up Story nightclub in Miami where we're told they partied until 5:30 AM. Drake (right) and D-Wade's GF Gabrielle Union (belowbottom left) were among the celebs who helped the Heat celebrate their second NBA title in a row.

You gotta see the video ... especially when 68-year-old NBA legend (and Heat Prez) Pat Riley joins the crew.

Had the Spurs won it all, you have to wonder ... would 37-year-old Tim Duncan, 35-year-old Manu Ginobili, and 31-year-old Tony Parker have even hit the clubs at all?

Justin Bieber's Posse TERRORIZING CALABASAS ... Caught On Tape!!!

062013_lil_za_launch_v2

Justin Bieber's housemates -- Lil Za & Lil Twist -- are law-breaking, aggressive punks ... who dangerously rocketed through the streets of Calabasas and cussed out their neighbor ... and TMZ has the footage.

The latest incident went down Thursday inside Bieber's exclusive gated community -- The Oaks -- where one of Bieber's neighbors witnessed Za and Twist tearing up the streets in JB's cars ... a black Range Rover and the infamous white Ferrari.

You'll see a lady with a camera driving 25mph -- the speed limit -- as the two cars are stopped in front of her ... one in the oncoming traffic lane.

As the woman passes Bieber's cars ... Za and Twist turn on the jets and screech past her at speeds way in excess of the limit.

It all comes to a head at one of the gates in the community, where Za gets out of his car, aggressively confronts the woman -- and proclaims he's a resident of The Oaks with this glib gem ... "I live with Justin Bieber and you know I do."

He then tells the woman, "F**k you. Get the f**k out of here."

Bernanke bond announcement was poorly timed: Fed's Bullard

St. Louis Federal Reserve Bank President James Bullard worried that the Fed's decision earlier this week to announce a plan to reduce bond buying was poorly timed, the regional Fed bank said in a statement on Friday explaining his dissent. "President Bullard ... felt that the committee's decision to authorize the chairman to lay out a more elaborate plan for reducing the pace of asset purchases was inappropriately timed," the St. Louis Fed's statement said.
Bullard was one of two dissents cast on Wednesday by members of the U.S. central bank's policy-setting Federal Open Market Committee. The other dissent, by Kansas City Fed President Esther George, was in the opposite direction, as she worried that ongoing bond buying could stoke financial instability.
Global financial markets have sunk sharply since Fed Chairman Ben Bernanke laid out the plan to begin cutting the pace of asset purchases later this year, provided the U.S. economy continues to improve as the central bank expects.
The Fed is currently buying bonds at an $85 billion monthly pace to put downward pressure on longer term borrowing costs. These steps, together with official Fed overnight interest rates that have been held near zero since late 2008, are designed to boost U.S. growth and hiring.
The St. Louis Fed noted that the 19 Fed officials who took part in the policy discussion on Wednesday also released economic projections in which they marked down forecasts for U.S. growth and inflation in 2013, while "simultaneously announcing that less accommodative policy may be in store."
"President Bullard felt that a more prudent approach would be to wait for more tangible signs that the economy was strengthening and that inflation was on a path to return toward target before making such an announcement," St. Louis said.
It also repeated that Bullard thought the Fed should have more strongly signaled a willingness to defend its 2 percent inflation target, in light of recent low inflation readings, which was the explanation for his dissent offered in a statement issued by the Fed on Wednesday.
Furthermore, St. Louis said that Bullard viewed the decision to lay out a rough timeline for scaling back bond buying, which Bernanke explained would likely come to a halt around mid-2014, was a step away from a "state-contingent" monetary policy that was dictated by economic conditions, rather than calendar dates.

Kim and Kanye BABY NAME REVEALED

0620_kanye_west_kim_kardashian_article_tmz
What do Kim Kardashian's new baby and the Space Needle have in common?

They're both NORTH WEST ... TMZ has learned.

Seriously, that's the kid's name ... according to the birth certificate from Cedars-Sinai hospital.

There were rumors floating around a few months ago that Kim and Kanye West might give the baby a directional name ... but who thought they would actually go through with it?

And when you look at the options -- West West is redundant ... South West is an airline ... and East West leads to nowhere.

So, by default ... North West it is!

Congratulations little girl.

Afghan peace bid stumbles on Kabul-Taliban protocol row

A fresh effort to end Afghanistan's 12-year-old war looked in disarray on Thursday after a diplomatic spat about the Taliban's new Qatar office delayed preliminary discussions between the United States and the Islamist insurgents.
Talks between U.S. officials and representatives of the Taliban had been set for Thursday in Qatar but Afghan government anger at the fanfare surrounding the opening of a Taliban office in the Gulf state threw preparations into confusion.
The squabble may set the tone for what could be long and arduous negotiations to end a war that has raged since the U.S. invasion of Afghanistan that followed the September 11, 2001 al Qaeda attacks on U.S. targets.
Asked when the talks would now take place, the source in Doha said "There is nothing scheduled that I am aware of." Asked if that meant they would not happen today, the source added: "Yes that's correct."
The opening of the office was a practical step paving the way for peace talks. But the official-looking protocol surrounding the event raised angry protests in Kabul that the office would develop into a Taliban government-in-exile: A diplomatic scramble ensued to allay their concerns.
A Taliban flag that had been hoisted at the Taliban office on Tuesday had been taken down and lay on the ground on Thursday, although it appeared still attached to a flagpole.
A name plate, inscribed with the title "Political Office of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan" had also been removed.
Questioned whether the Taliban's office in Doha had created a sense of optimism about peace efforts, the source replied: "Optimism and pessimism are irrelevant. The most important thing is that we now know the Taliban are ready to talk, and sometimes talk is expensive."
Word of the U.S.-Taliban talks had raised hopes that Karzai's government and the Taliban might enter their first-ever direct negotiations on Afghanistan's future, with Washington acting as a broker and Pakistan as a major outside player.
The Taliban has until now refused talks with Kabul, calling Karzai and his government puppets of the West. But a senior Afghan official said earlier the Taliban was now willing to consider talks with the government.
PRISONER SWAP
In its talks with the U.S. officials, the Taliban was expected to demand the return of former senior commanders now detained at the U.S. military prison at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, a move opposed by many in the U.S. Congress, as well as the departure of all foreign troops.
The United States wants the return of the only known U.S. prisoner of war from the conflict, Sergeant Bowe Bergdahl, who is believed to be held by the Taliban.
The protocol dispute burst into the open on Wednesday when Afghan President Hamid Karzai said his government would not join U.S. talks with the Taliban and would halt negotiations with Washington on a post-2014 troop pact.
Officials from Karzai's government, angered by the official-sounding name the Taliban chose for its political office in Doha, said the United States had violated assurances it would not give official status to the insurgents.
Afghan government officials objected to the impression that the insurgents had achieved some level of international political recognition and could use it as an official embassy or even as a base for a government-in-exile.
"As long as the peace process is not Afghan-led, the High Peace Council will not participate in the talks in Qatar," Karzai said in a statement, referring to a body he set up in 2010 to seek a negotiated peace with the Taliban.
VOID OF TRUST
A statement on Qatar's foreign ministry website late on Wednesday clarified that the office which opened was called the "Political Bureau for Afghan Taliban in Doha".
The source familiar with the matter said: "The Taliban have to understand that this office isn't an embassy and they are not representing a country."
The dispute over the Taliban office after months of behind-the-scenes diplomacy to restart the peace talks underscored what U.S. officials say is a void of trust between Karzai and the Taliban, who have been waging an insurgency to overthrow his government and oust foreign troops.
Fighting continued in the war-ravaged nation. Four U.S. soldiers were killed in a rocket attack on the heavily fortified Bagram base near Kabul late on Tuesday, international military officials said.
U.S. and Afghan officials said U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry spoke with Karzai on Tuesday night and again on Wednesday morning in an effort to defuse the controversy.
Underlining the importance of the process to the United States, the State Department said Kerry would travel to Doha for meetings with senior Qatari officials on Friday and Saturday. But U.S. officials said he would not meet with Taliban representatives.

Pele calls for end to protests in Brazil

Demonstrations continued across Brazil on Thursday with protesters notably blocking the main access road to the Arena Castelao, in Fortaleza.
The protest was the latest of a wave in recent days that has marred the ongoing Confederations Cup, and has been organised by groups demanding better public services and complaining about the local government.
"Let's forget all this commotion happening in Brazil, all these protests, and let's remember how the Brazilian squad is our country and our blood," Pele told O Globo.
The former Santos player's appeal, however, was soon derided on social media, with many claiming that his wealth meant he was unable to emphasise with the ordinary Brazilian.
Another former Brazil international, Ronaldo, was also criticised after commenting that "you can't hold a World Cup with hospitals", in response to the protests over the billions spent on stadiums that many Brazilians feel would have been better invested in public amenities.
Meanwhile, two of the country's biggest cities, Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, have struck an agreement to revoke an increase in public transportation fares, that first helped spark the nationwide demonstrations.
Sao Paulo state Governor, Geraldo Alckmin, announcing a reduction in fares to their level before the hike, called it "important... so the city can have the tranquility needed to debate issues calmly".
The Selecao picked up their second win of the Confederations Cup on Thursday with a 2-0 defeat of Mexico.

Actor James Gandolfini of 'The Sopranos' dies at 51

Actor James Gandolfini, who rose to fame as crime boss Tony Soprano on the “The Sopranos,” has died of a possible heart attack in Italy, HBO confirmed to Fox News.
There were few immediate details surrounding his death at 51, although he was on vacation in Rome,  his managers said.
Gandolfini,  a New Jersey native, appeared in films and on the stage before his breakthrough part  in 1999 as Mafia boss Tony Soprano in the HBO series, which brought him three Emmys during its six-year run.
“We're all in shock and feeling immeasurable sadness at the loss of a beloved member of our family,” said a statement from HBO.  “He was special man, a great talent, but more importantly a gentle and loving person who treated everyone no matter their title or position with equal respect.
“He touched so many of us over the years with his humor, his warmth and his humility.  Our hearts go out to his wife and children during this terrible time.  He will be deeply missed by all of us. “
His managers Mark Armstrong and Nancy Sanders said, “It is with immense sorrow that we report our client James Gandolfini passed away today while on holiday in Rome, Italy.  Our hearts are shattered and we will miss him deeply.  He and his family were part of our family for many years and we are all grieving.”
Organizers of the Taormina Film Festival in Sicily were scrambling to put together a tribute to Gandolfini, who had been expected to attend the festival's closing ceremony this weekend and receive an award. Organizers Mario Sesti and Tiziana Rocca said Gandolfini will instead be honored with a tribute "remembering his career and talent."
He is survived by his wife, Deborah Lin, their baby daughter and his son Michael, with his ex-wife, Marcy Wudarski, from whom he was divorced in December 2002.
Gandolfini, easily recognized with his bear-like frame, turned Tony Soprano into a multi-faceted character who merged mob boss and family man. In addition to his Emmys, the part brought him a Golden Globe and a Screen Actors Guild Award.
He played Defense Secretary Leon Panetta in Kathryn Bigelow's Osama bin Laden hunt docudrama "Zero Dark Thirty." He worked with Chase for the `60s period drama "Not Fade Away," in which he played the old-school father of a wannabe rocker. And in Andrew Dominick's crime flick "Killing Them Softly," he played an aged, washed-up hit man.
On Broadway, he garnered a best-actor Tony Award nomination for 2009's "God of Carnage."
Deploying his unsought clout as a star, Gandolfini produced a pair documentaries for HBO focused on a cause he held dear: veterans affairs.
Gandolfini's performance in "The Sopranos" was indelible and career-making, but he refused to be stereotyped as the bulky mobster who was a therapy patient, family man and cold-blooded killer.
After the series concluded with its breathtaking blackout ending, Gandolfini's varied film work included comedies such as "In the Loop," a political satire, and the heartwarming drama "Welcome to the Rileys," which costarred Kristen Stewart. He voiced the Wild Thing Carol in "Where the Wild Things Are."
Gandolfini grew up in Park Ridge, N.J., the son of a building maintenance chief at a Catholic school and a high school lunch lady.
After earning a degree in communications from Rutgers University, Gandolfini moved to New York, where he worked as a bartender, bouncer and nightclub manager. When he was 25, he joined a friend of a friend in an acting class.
Gandolfini's first big break was a Broadway production of "A Streetcar Named Desire" where he played Steve, one of Stanley Kowalski's poker buddies. His film debut was in Sidney Lumet's "A Stranger Among Us" (1992).
In a December 2012 interview with The Associated Press, Gandolfini said he gravitated to acting as a release, a way to get rid of anger. "I don't know what exactly I was angry about," he said.
"I try to avoid certain things and certain kinds of violence at this point," he said last year. "I'm getting older, too. I don't want to be beating people up as much. I don't want to be beating women up and those kinds of things that much anymore."
"Sopranos" producer and creator David Chase issued a statement Wednesday night saying, “He was a genius.  Anyone who saw him even in the smallest of his performances knows that.  He is one of the greatest actors of this or any time.
"A great deal of that genius resided in those sad eyes.  I remember telling him many times, 'You don't get it.  You're like Mozart.’  There would be silence at the other end of the phone.
"For Deborah and Michael and Liliana this is crushing.  And it's bad for the rest of the world.  He wasn't easy sometimes.  But he was my partner, he was my brother in ways I can't explain and never will be able to explain.”
New Jersey Governor Chris Christie also paid tribute to Gandolfini, saying, "It's an awful shock. James Gandolfini was a fine actor, a Rutgers alum and a true Jersey guy. I was a huge fan of his and the character he played so authentically, Tony Soprano. I have gotten to know Jimmy and many of the other actors in the Sopranos cast and I can say that each of them are an individual New Jersey treasure."
Sen. Robert Menendez, D-NJ, said late Wednesday he was saddened to hear about the death of a "talented actor whose unforgettable performances made him a television icon." He said Gandolfini was a proud New Jerseyan and a Rutgers University graduate.
The senator said he has displayed Gandolfini's photo in his Washington, D.C., office for years as part of a New Jersey Wall of Fame.

Mysterious new MERS virus spreads easily, deadlier than SARS

  • mersvirusap.jpg
UNDATED: This electron microscope image made availalbe by the National Institute of Allergy and Infections Diseases - Rocky Mountain Laboratories shows novel coronavirus particles, also known as the MERS virus, colorized in yellow. (AP)
A mysterious new respiratory virus that originated in the Middle East spreads easily between people and appears more deadly than SARS, doctors reported Wednesday after investigating the biggest outbreak in Saudi Arabia.
More than 60 cases of what is now called MERS, including 38 deaths, have been recorded by the World Health Organization in the past year, mostly in Saudi Arabia. So far, illnesses haven't spread as quickly as SARS did in 2003, ultimately triggering a global outbreak that killed about 800 people.
An international team of doctors who investigated nearly two dozen cases in eastern Saudi Arabia found the new coronavirus has some striking similarities to SARS. Unlike SARS, though, scientists remain baffled as to the source of MERS.
In a worrying finding, the team said MERS (Middle East respiratory syndrome) not only spreads easily between people, but within hospitals. That was also the case with SARS, a distant relative of the new virus.
"To me, this felt a lot like SARS did," said Dr. Trish Perl, a senior hospital epidemiologist at Johns Hopkins Medicine, who was part of the team. Their report was published online Wednesday in the New England Journal of Medicine.
Perl said they couldn't nail down how it was spread in every case — through droplets from sneezing or coughing, or a more indirect route. Some of the hospital patients weren't close to the infected person, but somehow picked up the virus.
"In the right circumstances, the spread could be explosive," said Perl, while emphasizing that the team only had a snapshot of one MERS cluster in Saudi Arabia.
Cases have continued to trickle in, and there appears to be an ongoing outbreak in Saudi Arabia. MERS cases have also been reported in Jordan, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Britain, France, Germany, Italy and Tunisia. Most have had a direct connection to the Middle East region.
In the Saudi cluster that was investigated, certain patients infected many more people than would be expected, Perl said. One patient who was receiving dialysis treatment spread MERS to seven others, including fellow dialysis patients at the same hospital. During SARS, such patients were known as "superspreaders" and effectively seeded outbreaks in numerous countries.
Perl and colleagues also concluded that symptoms of both diseases are similar, with an initial fever and cough that may last for a few days before pneumonia develops.
But MERS appears far more lethal. Compared to SARS' 8 percent death rate, the fatality rate for MERS in the Saudi outbreak was about 65 percent, though the experts could be missing mild cases that might skew the figures.
While SARS was traced to bats before jumping to humans via civet cats, the source of the MERS virus remains a mystery. It is most closely related to a bat virus though some experts suspect people may be getting sick from animals like camels or goats. Another hypothesis is that infected bats may be contaminating foods like dates, commonly harvested and eaten in Saudi Arabia.
Doctors around the world have struggled to treat patients. "We need more information from other countries to find out what the best treatment is," said Dr. Clemens Wendtner, who treated a MERS patient who later died in Munich. "Our patient got everything possible and it still didn't help him."
Other experts said there are enough worrying signs about MERS that it can't yet be written off, despite the relatively small number of cases it has caused.
"As long as it is around, it has every opportunity at the genetic roulette table to turn into something more dangerous," said Michael Osterholm, an infectious diseases expert at the University of Minnesota.
WHO Director-General Dr. Margaret Chan has previously called MERS the single biggest public health threat and acknowledged officials were "empty-handed" regarding prevention measures.
"We understand too little about this virus when viewed against the magnitude of its potential threat," she said last month in Geneva.
At a meeting this weekend in Cairo, WHO will meet with other experts to discuss MERS and to possibly develop guidelines for next month's Ramadan, when millions of Muslim pilgrims will be visiting Saudi Arabia.

Lawmakers question Obama's pledge to scale back US nuclear arsenal

President Obama’s pledge to cut the United States' nuclear arsenal by one-third is sending the wrong message to the global community, some Washington lawmakers said Wednesday.
“Now is not the time to pursue further strategic nuclear force reductions,” Sen. Jim Inhofe, R-Okla., said following Obama’s speech in Berlin, Germany.
Inhofe was among several lawmakers who warned that cutting the country’s strategic nuclear arsenal by one-third would put America at a disadvantage against countries like Russia, North Korea and Iran. Inhofe said the president’s plan wrongly assumes that reducing the role of nuclear weapons would make the world safer.
“Instead, our experience has been that nuclear arsenals -- other than ours -- are on the rise, Russia defies us at almost every turn, efforts to curb the nuclear ambitions of North Korea and Iran are failing, and our allies grow increasingly uneasy about the reliability of U.S. nuclear guarantees,” Inhofe, the ranking member of the Senate Armed Services Committee, said.
The president called for further reducing nuclear stockpiles, and ultimately eliminating nuclear weapons, during an address in Berlin on Wednesday. "So long as nuclear weapons exist, we are not truly safe," he said.
In the near-term, if the Senate approves the U.S.-Russia proposal, Obama would reduce the current limit for each country of 1,550 by a third, which would potentially bring the warhead stockpile to as low as 1,000.
Sen. Kelly Ayotte, a freshman Republican senator from New Hampshire, called the president’s decision to pursue additional reductions “misguided and dangerous.”
“A robust and reliable U.S. nuclear arsenal discourages nuclear proliferation and deters nuclear attacks on the United States and our allies,” Ayotte said in a statement.
Ret. Gen. Jack Keane told Fox News the country needs to do the opposite of what the president is proposing and instead should ramp up and modernize the program.
“Our (nuclear program) is in very bad shape and we have decorating capabilities,” he said.
Some lawmakers, though, applauded the president’s plan.
Democratic Rep. Adam Smith, ranking member of the House Armed Services Committee, praised Obama's approach.
“The president’s announcement today will allow the United States to lead the way on nuclear weapons reductions in a manner that strengthens our national security,” he said in a statement, adding that Obama “clearly understands that a strong nuclear deterrent remains essential. We have, and would retain, the ability to destroy the world many times over."
During his speech in Berlin, Obama said “this is the moment to begin the work of seeking the peace of a world without nuclear weapons."
It was the same message he told a crowd of 200,000-strong in Germany back in 2008 while he visited the country during his presidential campaign.
Obama also said, upon his return to the U.S., he will ask the Senate to ratify the Comprehensive Nuclear Test Ban Treaty which has failed to make any significant strides in the Senate. During Wednesday’s speech, Obama also announced plans to attend a summit on securing nuclear material in 2014 in the Hague, an extension of the series of international meetings he initiated in 2009.
Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin seemed to question Obama’s sincerity and dismissed his statements.
“Obama’s calls to reduce nuclear arms cannot be taken seriously given that the U.S. is still ramping up its missile defenses,” Rogozin  told Reuters.
At the end of the Cold War with Russia in 1991, America had deployed more than 10,000 warheads on delivery vehicles. Since then, the number has decreased to fewer than 2,000 warheads, and is slated to fall further in the next five years, after the new START Treaty completes implementation.
The current cost of the U.S. arsenal and its support infrastructure surpasses $31 billion a year.
In April 2010, the U.S. and Russia signed the New START Treaty which the Senate approved in December 2010. The new START superseded SORT-- the Strategic Offensive Reductions Treaty, which was signed by the two nations in 2002 and was scheduled to expire at the end of 2012.
Under the terms of the New START agreement, each side would limit its number of deployed nuclear weapons delivery systems to no more than 700. The number of deployed strategic nuclear warhead stockpiles were capped at 1,500.
Presently, the administration is completing a review of the size of its nuclear force as well as a review of the country’s employment policy.
The president has also said publicly that the U.S. may be able to cut its numbers of deployed and non-deployed warheads even more. According to press reports, the Pentagon is now reviewing the number of alternatives and that the White House is likely to shave the number of nukes even more to 1,000 warheads. However, Obama insists that any major movements would be done in parallel with Russia.
There are a growing number of countries who have access to nuclear weapons.
According to the Arms Control Association, China has 240 total warheads, France has fewer than 300 and Russia has 1,480 deployed strategic warheads. The Federation of American Scientists estimates that Russia has another 1,022 non-deployed strategic warheads and another 2,000 tactical nuclear warheads. Russia has thousands of others waiting to be dismantled. The United Kingdom has a stockpile of 225.
Part of the global concern over nuclear capabilities stems from the widespread catastrophic damage that could occur if the weapons were placed in the wrong hands especially in countries of instability like North Korea and Syria.

TWA Flight 800 investigators break silence in new documentary, claim original conclusion about cause of crash is wrong

  • TWA 800.jpg

A group of whistleblowers, including a number of aviation experts, have come forward in a new documentary to claim that the official explanation for the crash of TWA Flight 800 was wrong and a gas tank explosion did not bring down the flight off the coast of Long Island 17 years ago.
However, the six whistleblowers, all part of the original investigation team, stopped short of saying the plane was shot down.
Flight 800, a Boeing 747, had just taken off from JFK airport with 230 people aboard on July 17, 1996 enroute to Paris when it exploded and crashed off the coast of nearby East Moriches, Long Island, killing everyone on the plane.
“..This team of investigators who actually handled the wreckage and victims’ bodies, prove that the officially proposed fuel-air explosion did not cause the crash,” reads a statement by the producers of the film, which will debut on cable network EPIX next month. “They also provide radar and forensic evidence proving that one or more ordinance explosions outside the aircraft caused the crash.” However, the statement said they did not speculate about the source or sources of any ordinance explosions.
The whistleblower team, which includes investigators-at the time-from the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB), TWA, and the Airline Pilots Association, have since retired from their positions. They claim that at the time, they were placed under a gag order by the NTSB, which they charged falsified the official conclusion of the cause of the crash. They indicated they would elaborate more in a Wednesday media briefing.
The NTSB report, the culmination of a four-year investigation, suggested the cause of the explosion was due to an explosion in the gas tank caused by a short circuit.
With conspiracy theories immediately swirling around the crash – one being that it was caused by a terrorist missile strike -- the FBI conducted  a 16-month investigation and concluded that there was no evidence to indicate that any criminal act occurred.

San Antonio Spurs vs. Miami Heat: Game 6 Score, Highlights and Analysis

It should have been easy to predict around 11 p.m. ET Tuesday night that we were all about to see something amazing.
One hour later, things still hadn't been decided. Another five minutes is what it took to reach a Miami Heat Game 6 victory. Miami took down the San Antonio Spurs 103-100 in overtime.
If Tim Duncan owned the night up until the fourth quarter, LeBron James stole it from him in the most vicious way possible. James destroyed everything in the fourth quarter, getting whatever he wanted, whenever he wanted it.
But then, there was the little guy waiting for the moment to get bigger. Tony Parker picked his moment and ripped whatever James had stolen from Duncan back into a black and silver uniform—with five straight points, and a steal in between, inside two minutes to push San Antonio ahead.
Of course, Ray Allen couldn't let the series go by without being heard from. His contested three from the right corner tied things at 95 and sent Game 6 to overtime.
Then in the extra period, Allen was able to rip the ball away from Manu Ginobili on his game-winning attempt. Two freebies at the other end put the Heat out of reach. Allen scored seven of Miami's final 11 points, including four in overtime.

Obama Family Africa Trip Under Fire

President Obama’s trip this month to Africa, with the first family tagging along, is projected to cost taxpayers as much as $100 million, sparking criticism as the federal government scrimps along during sequester-related budget cuts.
Among the related costs will be fighter jets; hundreds of Secret Service agents; a Navy ship with a full trauma center; and military cargo planes to bring 56 vehicles including 14 limousines and three trucks loaded with sheets of bulletproof glass to cover the windows of the hotels where the first family will stay. The details were reported by The Washington Post, based on a confidential planning document.
The trip to sub-Sahara Africa runs from June 26 to July 3.
The president and first lady have cancelled plans to go on a safari that would have included the additional expense of a sharp-shooting team, responsible for putting down a cheetah, lion or any other wild animal that became a threat.
Figuring out the exact cost of the overall trip is difficult because the information is classified for the purpose of national security.
However, a Government Accountability Office report shows President Clinton’s 1998 trip to six African nations cost at least $42.7 million – not including Secret Service expenses.
Obama’s trip could cost the federal government $60 million to $100 million based on the costs of similar African trips in recent years, a person familiar with the Obama journey but not authorized to speak for attribution told The Post.
The trip comes as agencies across the federal government try to find cost-saving measures to deal with the massive, across-the-board budget cuts known as sequester, which kicked in this year after Washington lawmakers failed to agree on a more measured approach. The Secret Service, for example, pushed to cancel public White House tours to save thousands in weekly overtime expenses.
“For the cost of this trip to Africa, you could have 1,350 weeks of White House tours,” Rep. George Holding, a North Carolina Republican, said last week. “It is no secret that we need to rein in government spending, and the Obama administration has regularly and repeatedly shown a lack of judgment for when and where to make cuts. … The American people have had enough of the frivolous and careless spending.”
The White House had defended the trip cost saying the Secret Service plan determines the security cost and that first family’s trip will result in long-term goodwill.
“The infrastructure that accompanies the president’s travels is beyond our control,” said Ben Rhodes, Obama’s deputy national security adviser for strategic communications. “When you travel to regions like Africa that don’t get a lot of presidential attention, you tend to have very long-standing and long-running impact from the visit.”

Lil Wayne FLAG TRAMPLE WAS AN ACCIDENT I Didn't See It There

Lil Wayne is lying through his diamond-encrusted teeth ... claiming he didn't INTENTIONALLY step on the American flag during a video shoot ... despite the fact he can be seen looking down on Old Glory several times during the performance.

Wayne just tweeted about his controversial video shoot for "God Bless Amerika" in New Orleans ... saying, "I didn't step on the flag on purpose! It's a scene in a video where the flag drops behind me and after it drop it's just there as I perform."

Translation -- I swear it was an accident ... please don't hate me.

Problem is ... during the video, you can see Wayne look down on the flag at several points in the shoot ... yet continues to trample all over the stars and stripes.

So ... you buyin' Weezy's explanation?

Justin Bieber Cleared in Alleged Hit and Run

Justin Bieber was under investigation for a possible hit and run accident involving a paparazzo overnight -- but police have now cleared JB of any wrongdoing ... TMZ has learned.

Justin was leaving the Laugh Factory on Sunset Boulevard around 11:45 PM in his infamous white Ferrari. His pal Lil Twist was there as a passenger, and several paps were on scene shooting the duo.

Once Justin got behind the wheel he motioned for some of the photogs to clear out of the way -- but when he drove off he appeared to pin one of them between the Ferrari and a parked car.

Justin did not stop. LAPD launched an investigation and interviewed Justin a few hours after the incident ... and he told cops he didn't know he hit the photographer (not a TMZ employee).

Police say the photog was not seriously hurt, but was at fault because he was a pedestrian in the roadway.

So, Justin's in the clear ... this time.

NEMA Warns Southern Nigeria of Impending Heavy Rainfall

The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) has warned residents of the southern parts of the country to prepare for heavy and potentially-dangerous rainfall.
It would be recalled that last year, similar severe weather caused unprecedented flooding in the southern half of the country, resulting in villages being washed away and many people losing their homes.
NEMA said it was issuing the latest early warning based on alerts received from the African Centre of Meteorological Applications for Development based in Niamey, Niger Republic.  The center issued the warning on Monday evening to countries in the Central, East and West African sub-regions.
In Nigeria, Lagos and its environs are expected to experience heavy torrential rainfall and the advisory means that all residents must take precautions, and
NEMA passionately implored all Nigerians living in the south to take the warning seriously.
Parents and teachers were especially enjoined to keep watchful eyes on their wards while motorists were warned to avoid driving in the rain, but not to stay inside the vehicle if they decided to park.  NEMA also warned parents to avoid sending their wards on errands during the rains, and to avoid dumping of refuse in the drains.
Finally, NEMA advised residents to relocate to higher areas should they be experiencing heavy accumulation of water, and to call the nearest police station or the agency on its emergency numbers: 080022636432; 08160581814 or 08067715203.
